Suji ka halwa
Suji Ka Halwa is a delighted dessert or Sweet dish we served with garnished almonds and other Dry Fruits, Being so tasty it is super fast to cook Suji ka Halwa.
Suji also has many advantages like it can help you to reduce your weight, Suji consists of healthy carbohydrates that increase your energy levels.Ingredients:
- Choti elaichi (green cardamom) 3-4
- Desi ghee ½ cup (solid form) or Vegetable Oil
- Sooji (semolina) ¾ cup
- Cheeni (sugar) 1 & ¼ cup
- Pani (water) 3 cups
- Dry fruits as required (for garnishing)
Directions to Making Suji Ka Halwa:
In wok, heat ghee and add green cardamom, sauté for a minute. Add semolina and roast on medium-low flame until the color change and fragrant. Add sugar and give it a good mix. Add water and food color, mix well, cover, and cook on medium-low flame for 3-4 minutes. Cover and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Garnish with dry fruits. Sooji ka halwa is ready.
